Overview
IEEE TechFest is a premier technology and innovation festival. After a highly successful 2025 event at Trace Expert City with over 500 participants, the 2026 edition was elevated to a massive national-level festival targeting 1,500+ attendees.
To match the ambition of the event, we needed a digital platform that wasn't just a brochure, but an immersive experience. The platform serves as the central hub for marketing, securing strategic partner meetings, and showcasing the festival's core pillars: Keynotes, Project Showcases, and Competitions.
The 'Cyber Noir' User Experience
The festival's theme, 'Cyber Noir', dictated a bold, unconventional design language. The UI eschews standard corporate tech aesthetics in favor of deep contrasts, neon accents, and immersive micro-interactions. This unique visual identity was crucial for standing out, attracting high-profile industry partners, and resonating with the next generation of engineers.
Full-Stack Serverless Architecture
The platform is built on Next.js, leveraging its hybrid rendering capabilities for blazing-fast load times and optimal SEO, essential for event marketing. The backend relies on Supabase for robust, scalable data management, while Resend powers the transactional email infrastructure for registrations and partner communications.
Automated CI/CD Pipeline
To ensure rapid iteration leading up to the event without risking stability, a strict CI/CD pipeline was implemented using GitHub Actions. Every push to the main branch triggers automated builds and seamlessly deploys to Vercel, guaranteeing zero downtime and allowing the marketing team to push content updates instantly.
